Committed to developing and promoting the black economic base. We support programs dedicated to assisting Black Entrepreneurs, Contractors, Developers and Job Creation.
Encourage community involvement in crime prevention. We support the Anti-Gang and Drug Programs and Community Policing Beat Meetings.
Host monthly meetings every third Tuesday of the month at the Tuley Park Field House, 501 East 90th Place, Chicago, IL 60619 at 6:30 p.m. promptly. City, state and other elected officials often address the Council as well as leaders in the fields of health, business and education.
Work to beautify the community. Each year, neighbors and community residents along with the support of local businesses, plant flowers to each corner along King Drive from 87th Street to 93rd Street. A sign, welcoming visitors and residents to the Chesterfield community was installed in 2000.
